Bringing the Past Closer with Technology

The goal of this group is to explore how technology can be used to make past events seem closer. For example, coloring of black & white photos of past events might be a way to make the past seem closer and more relatable. Using multidisciplinary angles we will look at elements related to depiction of historical events via technological advancement. We will examine psychological and sociological effects related to these presentations as well as artistic and historical perspectives.
